Before joining SCBA, John amassed 25 years of invaluable experience in the water industry, where he honed his skills in financial management, business planning, asset management, and regulatory reporting while serving with distinction at Lower Murray Water. Subsequently, he spent 5 years in the health industry, contributing his expertise to organizations such as Sunraysia Community Health and Mallee District Aboriginal Services.
John’s multifaceted experience has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of all facets of financial management, including treasury management, stores management, governance, and risk management. His strategic insights and adeptness in economic pricing have proven instrumental in driving sustainable growth and operational efficiency.
A consummate professional, John holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance and Risk Management. He is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) with CPA Australia, as well as a Fellow of both the Governance Institute of Australia and The Chartered Governance Institute.
